Digital Projection at WFX 2009 in Charlotte, NC

Digital Projection recently partnered with DNP Screens on a jaw-dropping showcase at WFX.  Presented by Church Production and Worship Facilities Magazines, WFX offers 60+ updated conference sessions on everything from architectural design and fundraising, to mixing sound and social networking. Consultants, architects and dealers alike were stunned by the image quality and clarity displayed under full show lighting, with NO COVER above the booth.  Even with a tremendous amount of ambient light, Digital Projection's TITAN projectors worked in conjunction with DNP’s huge 204” diagonal Supernova screen to produce the talking point of the show.

To demonstrate the incredible brightness of the imagery produced, a triangle of white material laminated was placed on the left side of the DNP screen for a direct comparison between standard diffusion front projection screens vs. Supernova optical technology. The white material was completely washed out under those lighting conditions, while the Supernova screen showed high contrast, black levels and vivid colors.

Also impressive was a second display, a 100” Supernova screen combined with Digital Projection’s new 3500 ANSI lumen M-Vision 1080p-260 projector. The image was crystal clear, with high contrast, deep blacks and very rich colors. Attendees had a difficult time believing that only 3500 lumens could provide such a “poster like” image.

Special thanks to Manfred Freiberger and everyone at DNP for their partnership at WFX.  Visit www.dnpscreens.us for more information on DNP and the Supernova screen.
