Each year CEDIA recognizes the best of the best in the residential electronic systems industry. 2009 was a standout year as CEDIA celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Manufacturers, residential electronic systems contractors, and CEDIA volunteers were recognized for their achievements and contributions to the association. Digital Projection’s TITAN 3D was awarded a Manufacturers' Excellence Award for Best New Product.  There were only 10 new products recognized with this distinction, and the TITAN was the only projector to win an award at this year’s banquet.

The CEDIA Expo Awards Banquet was held on Saturday, September 12 in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom at Atlanta, Georgia’s World Congress Center. George Walter, VP of Home Cinema and Michael Bridwell, Marketing Communications Manager, were present to accept the award.   George Walter commented, “Everyone at DP is exceptionally proud to have been recognized by CEDIA and the judging committee.  Now is the time for the world’s greatest line of precision displays to introduce a new standard of performance and customer support to the Home Entertainment channel.”
